Function and Applications

Amply equipped molecule construction kit with large balls of 30 (hydrogen), 40 (e.g. carbon) and 50 mm diameter (chlorine and sulfur), ideal for front-of-class teaching, for building open-chain (acyclic) and ring-shaped (cyclic) organic standard molecules in the form of open sphere-rod models or as room-filling dome models, as they are topics in school and in the early semesters of university education; e.g.: alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, alcohols, amines, haloalkanes, mercaptans, and many more. Also suitable for the study of different conformations and stereoisomers.
