Wind turbines
convert the energy that is contained in the wind into electrical
energy. Driven by the wind, the rotors rotate, thereby driving a
generator. This generator, which is located inside the rotor cabin,
converts the mechanical energy into electrical energy. The aim of
this experiment is to examine how a wind turbine behaves at
different wind speeds, loads, and wind directions, and how these
changes affect the electric power.
