Principle

All students will be familiar with slide projectors, and many will be interested in their construction and mode of operation. Hence they will usually be motivated for this experiment.

Note: This experiment is a model experiment and as such only suitable for the investigation of the basic physical principles of a slide projector.

Benefits

  • Multifunctional light box - All-in-one: Can be used for geometric optics on the table, colour mixing and on an optical bench
  • Extension with others sets at anytime, no additional light sources needed, recognition value for students

Tasks

Construct a model of a slide projector and investigate the functioning of the main components of this device.
