Principle

Drinking water can be classified according to the fraction of (above all) calcium and magnesium salts into hard and soft water. On heating, lime (calcareous fur) precipitates out of hard water. Calcium soap is redissolved by water softening agents.

Benefits

  • Experiment guides are very easy to understand, especially for younger students
  • Associated competences are directly linked to the experiments
  • Curriculum compatible
  • Fit for the future: implementation of tablets possible
