The most important work methods of gene technology are taught in this experiment. With the aid of agarose gel electrophoresis, the migration velocity and the cleavage pattern of the DNA can be investigated.

- 3 restriction digests with Hinf I, Hae III and EcoRI
- uncut pBR322 DNA
- sample loading buffer
- agarose, 6g
- electrophoresis buffer, 50 ml
- DNA stain (Bromophenol Blue), 1.5 ml
- microtubes

Necessary accessories
- TESS advanced Biology set Genetics (15311-88)
When used with the blueGel electrophoresis system 35016-99 (is also included in the Student set Genetics 15311-88), a TBE buffer is also required (e.g. KLA-530-223).
