Function and Applications

All living things in our environment consist of cells. They form the basic structure of life and fulfil many Tasks. They also have the ability to divide and reproduce. The film vividly introduces the cell cycle and the two types of cell division: Mitosis, which is important for the growth and healing of living tissue, and Meiosis, whose mature divisions give rise to the gametes for sexual reproduction. The complicated processes are broken down into the stages in a way that is easy to understand.
